Welcome to Marvelwood, a private boarding and day school in scenic Kent, Connecticut, where everything we do is designed to unlock and affirm your child’s curiosity and passion for learning.
At Marvelwood, we believe each student arrives already holding the keys to their own success. It’s our job to teach them how and when to use them. We do this through a unique, personalized blend of challenge and support designed to foster independence, self-advocacy, and sound work ethic.
We are right-sized so each student may be individually known. And while academic excellence is a core pillar of our offering (in fact, 100% of Marvelwood college applicants are accepted), the value our students gain extends far beyond the classroom. Starting junior year, our process is personalized and thorough. Counselors get to know each student’s goals, strengths, and interests, then equip them to match with the schools that are best aligned.

All Marvelwood students have the opportunity to affect real change and develop lifelong skills and relationships through leadership and service programs within both the school and our larger community.
LEARNING SUPPORT
